While I’m eating my lunch, I figure I should make you hungry by posting some links to interesting hamentaschen recipes. For those unfamiliar, hamentaschen are three-cornered pastries eaten on the Jewish holiday of Purim; the shape supposedly remembers Hamen’s three-cornered hat.
- 10 Savory and Unique Hamentaschen. These are quite interesting, and include items such as Kimchi Dumpling Hamentaschen, Whole Wheat and Meat Empanada Hamentaschen, Sushi Hamentaschen, and French Onion Soup Hamentaschen.
- Chocolate Peanut Butter Hamentaschen. Perhaps my favorite. A chocolate cookie dough and a peanut butter filling.
- Ultimate Hamentaschen Recipe Roundup. Loads of links, including Rosemary Hamantaschen with balsamic onion jam, Tangy Lamb Filled Hamantaschen, Pecan Pie Hamantaschen, and Gluten Free Hamantaschen.
