Observations Along The Road... at Dreamwidth

I saw it on Broadway and was unimpressed. Martin Short was good, but Bernadette Peters (who I admittedly have never much liked) is not a great dancer. The music was meh and most of the lyrics were surprisingly amateurish. I’d liked Zippel’s work for City of Angels so that was a big letdown. No Sondheimlich maneuver there.
