Changes That Caught My Eye

Some quick name changes that caught my eye:

• Cuties. Half of the company that markets “Cuties” is changing their name. Paramount Citrus, makes of POM Wonderful, have announced the new name is Wonderful Halos.
• Fresh & Easy. Rumors are flying that Ron Burkle is interested in buying Fresh and Easy, and they may eventually reemerge as a reborn Wild Oats.
• Santa Monica Holiday Inn. Already relabeled as a Wyndham, it may be reborn within a decade as a new three-tiered hotel that actually looks out at the ocean.
